Rachel Burns

A native of Alexandria, VA, Rachel has been a Realtor® since 1998 in both the Boston and Washington, DC areas. As a top producer, she has assisted hundreds of home buyers and sellers through their real estate transactions. She has brokered all types of transactions ranging from small condos to large single family homes, as well as investment and commercial property.

Rachel’s goal is to ensure that her clients’ real estate experience is one of the very best. She believes the key to a smooth and easy transaction is through excellent communication, managing expectations and providing detailed information so that her clients feel confident that they are making the very best decisions throughout the process. She is committed to providing excellent customer service through being available to answer all questions, tackle issues that come up along the way and through expert negotiation techniques.

Rachel has extensive experience in renovation and construction. Along with her husband, she owned and operated a development company, Burns Restoration, in which they converted multi-family homes into luxury condos while bringing forth the historic attributes of each building’s era. As an experienced renovator, Rachel enjoys working with developers and home owners with their own restoration projects.

Rachel grew up in Alexandria, and graduated from TC Williams. She studied opera at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston where she received her BM in Classical Vocal Performance. She now enjoys an active career as a jazz singer. Along with rehabbing older homes, she also restores antique lighting fixtures in her home workshop.
